Project Description: In addition to infrastructure and planning projects, we are often involved in negotiations with developers and other agencies where we serve as City Engineer.  An example of these types of services includes the IGA negotiations between the City of Junction City and the Oregon State Department of Corrections.   Serving as the City Engineer for Junction City, Westech represented the City in negotiations with the Oregon Department of Corrections regarding costs for infrastructure improvements needed to serve the proposed new state prison and mental hospital south of the City.  Westech successfully negotiated eight separate IGA’s between the City and the Department of Corrections totaling approximately $20 million in compensation to the City.
